Pollution-free solar power pumps billions of dollars into the country’s economy every year. In 2020, the solar industry generated more than $25 billion of investment in the American economy. The Mill Point Solar II Project will bring a long-term economic boost to Montgomery County and the Town of Glen by creating new family wage jobs and providing long-term tax revenue, which could total millions of dollars over the life of the project. Further, the Mill Point Solar II Project will generate enough clean energy to power more than 25,000 homes in New York State annually.
